About Mossy’s Diesel Maintenance
Mossy’s Diesel Maintenance was established in 2014 by Brendan Moss after leaving Hastings Deering to pursue his own path within the heavy equipment and mining industry. Brendan completed his apprenticeship with Hastings before progressing into field support roles, travelling across numerous mine sites and gaining extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of Caterpillar and heavy mobile equipment. Following years working as a diesel fitter across various mining operations, Brendan began contracting independently, building a strong reputation for reliability, workmanship, and practical problem solving.
Over time, Mossy’s Diesel Maintenance grew, with additional diesel fitters and contractors joining under the company banner to support maintenance operations across multiple sites.
Based in Yeppoon, Mossy’s Diesel Maintenance now provides maintenance and field service solutions across civil, agricultural, marine, earthmoving, and mining industries throughout Central Queensland, while continuing to maintain strong connections within the Bowen Basin supplying skilled diesel fitters and maintenance support to mining operations.
As a family-owned and operated business, Brendan leads the operational side of the company, while Liberty manages administration, safety, compliance, and the day-to-day support that keeps the business running smoothly.
